Meet the Hosts

    Chuck "Crank" Sperry

Originally from Chicago, Chuck "Crank" Sperry has lived in the Charlotte, NC area for six years.  Crank has loved all forms of motorized vehicles for as long as he can remember (which isn't saying much anymore).

Crank started working the automotive industry in 1975, managing an RV center.  He went on to serve as a store and district manager for Goodyear for 5 years, and he has been an ASE Certified service writer for BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Toyota over 26 years.

These days, Crank enjoys the quiet life with his beautiful wife of 20 years, Joan, his two sons and three grandkids.  His hobbies include British motorcycles & sports cars, gardening, fishing, and playing "super open" softball (whatever that means).

Crank's First Car:  1953 Buick Special
Crank's Favorite Car:  1970 Roadrunner 426 Street Hemi

Chris "Stick" Romeis

Stick may have been born in Philly, but 40 years in Charlotte have made him a true Southern Gentleman.  Rumor has it that he even spent time in Canada, not avoiding the draft, but playing professional hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After hanging up his skates, Stick spent 16 years in the car business as a sales consultant and finance manager for Toyota, Chevrolet, Audi and Porsche.  He is now an ASE certified service writer and all around car nut.

When he's not hanging out at the local watering hole or out dancing with the ladies, Stick enjoys jumping out of perfectly good airplanes - thankfully, with a parachute.

Stick's First Car:  1964 Renault Dauphine (really)
Stick's Favorite Car:  1968 Chevy Camero SS
